We Made the Toy We Couldn't Find
Rava was born from a simple frustration — and a firm belief that children deserve better than plastic novelty and throwaway design.
See Our ToysWhere It Started
A Toy Store Visit That Changed Everything
It started the way a lot of honest things start — with a feeling that something was wrong. Standing in a big-box toy aisle, faced with walls of bright plastic, licensed characters, and toys designed to be forgotten, we kept asking: where are the toys that actually last? The ones a child comes back to, and back to again, because the play never runs out?
We couldn't find them. So we made them.
Rava launched from a small studio with a single collection of wooden play pieces, a clear commitment to sustainable materials, and a design language borrowed loosely from the Scandinavian tradition of beautiful, purposeful objects. The response told us we'd touched something real — parents who were hungry for toys they could feel good about, gift-givers who wanted to give something that meant something, and retailers who'd been waiting for a brand they could champion without reservation.
